about
I am a ceramic artist who throws and hand builds in Naarm (Melbourne), Australia.
In making functional pots, I’m interested in the ways people have always made, decorated, and used vessels to extend what our bodies hold, keep, and lose.
My sculptural work often responds to the natural world, tangled up in memories and emotions. I’m drawn to natural patterns that repeat and change across bodies, communities, and landscapes. Recently, I’ve explored patterns of growth, erosion, and shelter in textures from the coastal lands and waters of the Bunurong people of the south east.
Commissions are welcome and you can join my mailing list to be notified (irregularly and sparingly) of new work and events.
environmental impact
To reduce the negative environmental and social impacts of making, I share resources and reclaim and repurpose materials as much as possible. I’m keen to work with other makers to source materials responsibly and develop a more circular material economy.
